1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and [legal.entity — to be completed] ("KwikQA", "we") covering the KwikQA website, hosted service, and paid plans. By signing in or using the service you accept them. If you use KwikQA for an organization, you confirm you may accept these terms for it. The KwikQA command-line tool is licensed under the license agreement included with the npm package; these terms apply alongside it.
2. Accounts
You sign in with a GitHub account and must be at least 16. Each account is for one person. Keep your CLI and CI tokens confidential; you are responsible for activity under them. Revoke a token from the dashboard as soon as you think it is exposed.
3. Plans, billing, and cancellation
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions, billed in advance through Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can change plans or cancel at any time in the billing portal. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your plan stays active until then.
- Usage limits reset at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each calendar month. Unused runs don't carry over.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. A change applies from your next billing period after the notice ends.
- Fees exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. Fees already paid are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
4. Usage limits and fair use
Each plan includes the monthly limits shown on the pricing page. Don't try to get around them, for example by sharing one account among several people or automating sign-ups. We may suspend accounts that do.
5. Your content
You keep all rights in your code, test reports, and evidence. You allow us to process the evidence packets you approve, only to provide the service, including forwarding them to the AI providers named in each preview. You are responsible for making sure that what you approve sending doesn't include data you aren't allowed to share.
6. AI output
Diagnoses and repair proposals are produced by AI models and can be wrong. KwikQA checks proposals against its repair rules and validates applied patches by running your tests, but you decide whether to apply a change and remain responsible for the code in your repository.
7. Bring-your-own-key plan
On this plan the CLI uses your own OpenRouter account. Your use of OpenRouter and its model providers is governed by their terms, and they bill you directly for it.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to break the law, to attack or overload it, to access other people's accounts or data, or to resell it. Don't reverse engineer the hosted service except where the law allows it.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid plan, we'll give you notice and you can cancel before the change.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using KwikQA and delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, after notice where reasonable.
11. Disclaimer
Except as these terms say otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by [legal.governingLaw — to be completed].
14. Changes to these terms
We'll post changes here and update the effective date. For material changes we'll give you notice before they apply. If you keep using the service after they apply, you accept the new terms.
